The Reader

Tap the center of the screen while reading to open the controls. Everything below lives in that bottom sheet.

Appearance

• Color presets — one-tap background/text pairs, from classic paper to pure black. The row starts with a custom-background chip.
• Custom colors — pick any background and text color (Pro).
• Background images — set any photo behind your reading, cropped to your screen, with a dim slider for readability (Pro).
• Fonts — a curated set of reading fonts, including themed ones for horror, fantasy, and classic novels.
• Text size, line height, margins — tune the page to your eyes.

Listening

Text-to-speech reads chapters aloud with natural system voices. For the best voices, download Enhanced or Premium voices in iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices, then pick them in Lipex.

Staying focused

• Screen lock — hold to lock the screen against accidental taps while you read.
• Progress — battery, time, and progress indicators are all optional.

Taking it with you

• Downloads — save chapters for offline reading.
• EPUB export — export a novel as a standard EPUB file and open it anywhere.
